| Terra | 4591 | Hermes Protocol | Community Grant for public goods development | Link | No | We vote No for two reasons. First, Hermes Protocol has no product-market fit. While it lists many features that it will develop, each feature already has at least one alternative fully built product that we can use. Second, while community-initiated developments are needed for many chains, Terra2 core team happens to be very good in product development themselves. The recent product announcements of Alliance, Feather, and InterChain Wallet are just a few example. If the community wants to initiate new developments, they should align the product vision with the core team, rather than submitting a vanilla version of a proposal like this one. |
